๐Ÿ—‚๏ธ Group Activity Title: #

Developing a GHG Inventory Report According to ISO 14064-1:2018

๐ŸŽฏ Learning Objectives: #

By the end of this activity, participants will be able to:

  1. Structure a complete GHG Inventory Report following the guidance in Annex F of ISO 14064-1:2018.
  2. Apply Clause 9.1 to 9.3 to ensure required and recommended reporting elements are included.
  3. Justify key reporting content such as boundaries, emission factors, uncertainties, and base year.

๐Ÿงพ Scenario for Group Work: #

  • Each group has completed their GHG quantification (from the previous activity).
  • Now, they must produce a GHG Inventory Report that reflects their findings using the reporting structure in Annex F.
  • The report must meet the completeness, consistency, accuracy, relevance, and transparency requirements of Clause 9.1.

๐Ÿ“‚ Materials Provided: #

  • Completed Excel sheets and results from previous GHG quantification activity.
  • Clause 9.1โ€“9.3 from ISO 14064-1:2018.
  • A GHG Inventory Report Outline Template (provided as Word or Google Docs format if needed).

    • Tools or models used (Clause 6.2.3)
  7. Exclusions & Justifications
    • Any excluded emissions or facilities and why (Clause 5.2.3)
  8. Uncertainty & Quality Assessment (Clause 8.3)
    • How uncertainty was evaluated and managed
  9. Verification Disclosure (Clause 9.3.1(rโ€“s)) โ€“ optional unless done
  10. Annexes (optional)
