Statement for Training Group Activity #
Objective: To help participants understand and apply the MSPO Standard in a simple and practical way.
Activity:
- Group Formation: Each participant will be assigned into a group by the training instructor. Click this LINK and identify 5 selected phrases (example, payslips, MSPO Policy, etc.) from the document for your group discussion..
- Choose a Phrase:
- Each group will choose phrases to present.
- Once a phrase is chosen and presented, it cannot be selected again by the next group/participants.
- This ensures every participant covers a different topic from the MSPO Standard.
- Presentation:
- Each participant will explain three things about their chosen phrase:
- (1) MSPO Clause to Refer To
Identify which MSPO clause, principle, or requirement is related to your phrase. - (2) Level of Requirement
Explain the strength of the requirement based on MSPO wording:- Shall = must follow
- Should = recommended
- Can / May = optional
- Any other wording used in the standard
- (3) How to Achieve It
Explain in simple terms how an organisation can comply with this requirement.- Examples you may include:
- What documents or evidence are needed?
- What actions or processes must be done?
- What should staff or management do to meet the requirement?

- Each participant will explain three things about their chosen phrase:
- By the end of the activity, each participant will understand their phrase, the correct MSPO clause behind it, and how to achieve compliance in real practice.
