  2. Site Nitar
  3. Site 3
  4. Site 6

The programme represents the first stage of the intended competency pathway for personnel proposed to become MSPO Internal SIA Assessors. Following completion of this Awareness Training, the participants are planned to continue with the MSPO SIA Basic Training scheduled from 28 to 30 April 2026.

7. Summary of Improvement Suggestions

Based on the indicative participant evaluation and trainer observations, the following improvement opportunities were identified:

  1. Include more examples using actual documents from the four Aramijaya sites.
  2. Provide a common MSPO implementation checklist for Site 8, Site Nitar, Site 3, and Site 6.
  3. Allocate additional time for exercises involving stakeholder and community issues.
  4. Include more examples of acceptable and inadequate certification evidence.
  5. Provide short quizzes after each major topic.
  6. Provide simplified guidance on policies, procedures, management plans, forms, and records.
  7. Include additional explanation of internal SIA assessor responsibilities.
  8. Use actual or anonymised site scenarios during the upcoming SIA Basic Training.

These suggestions represent opportunities for further enhancement and do not indicate dissatisfaction.

No negative feedback was recorded.

8. Recommendations for Future Training

Recommendation 1: Proceed with the SIA Basic Training

The planned MSPO SIA Basic Training from 28 to 30 April 2026 should proceed as the next stage of the internal assessor competency-development programme.

Recommendation 2: Verify Internal Assessor Eligibility

Before appointment as internal SIA assessors, Aramijaya should verify that each proposed assessor fulfils all applicable competency requirements, including:

  • minimum educational qualification;
  • relevant oil palm industry experience;
  • completion of MSPO Awareness Training; and
  • completion of MSPO SIA Basic Training.

Recommendation 3: Establish a Cross-Site SIA Team

Aramijaya should consider establishing a cross-site internal SIA team involving representatives from:

  • Site 8;
  • Site Nitar;
  • Site 3; and
  • Site 6.

This approach would support consistency, knowledge sharing, peer review, and greater independence during internal assessments.

Recommendation 4: Prepare Site Information Before April

Each site should prepare relevant information before the SIA Basic Training, including:

  • site profiles;
  • maps;
  • stakeholder lists;
  • workforce information;
  • complaints and grievances;
  • community engagement records;
  • previous social findings;
  • applicable legal obligations; and
  • existing management plans.

Recommendation 5: Use Site-Based Exercises

The April programme should include actual or anonymised examples involving:

  • stakeholder identification;
  • worker-related issues;
  • local communities;
  • contractors;
  • land and access matters;
  • grievance records;
  • social risks; and
  • positive community contributions.

Recommendation 6: Establish an SIA Implementation Schedule

Following completion of the April training, Aramijaya should prepare a programme covering:

  • internal assessor appointment;
  • SIA planning;
  • stakeholder consultation;
  • site assessment;
  • report preparation;
  • Social Management Plan development;
  • management approval; and
  • monitoring and review.

Recommendation 7: Maintain Competency Records

The organisation should maintain:

  • attendance records;
  • assessment results;
  • training certificates;
  • education records;
  • industry experience evidence;
  • appointment letters; and
  • ongoing competency-development records.

9. Conclusion

The MSPO Awareness Training conducted from 9 to 11 March 2026 at Ladang Hutan Ulu Sedili, Kota Tinggi, Johor was successfully completed with the participation of 11 Aramijaya personnel.

The programme was initiated to establish the awareness foundation required for the development of an internal MSPO SIA assessment team supporting:

  • Site 8;
  • Site Nitar;
  • Site 3; and
  • Site 6.

The programme provided participants with knowledge of the MSPO Certification Scheme, legal compliance, environmental and social responsibilities, occupational safety and health, stakeholder engagement, documented information, traceability, internal monitoring, and continual improvement.

Guided exercises enabled participants to apply the requirements to practical plantation situations and consider implementation needs across the four certified sites.

All 11 participants passed the assessment, achieving scores between 96% and 99%, with an overall average of 97.64%. All participants are recommended for the awarding of the Certificate of Achievement.

The indicative training evaluation reflected a high level of satisfaction, with an overall average rating of 4.76 out of 5.00 and no negative feedback recorded.

The Awareness Training represents the first stage of the planned internal SIA assessor development pathway. The programme will continue with the MSPO SIA Basic Training scheduled from 28 to 30 April 2026.

Completion of both programmes supports the competency pathway but does not independently confirm eligibility for appointment. Aramijaya should verify the education, experience, training, and other applicable competency requirements for each proposed internal assessor.

Based on the attendance, assessment results, participant engagement, and trainer observations, the programme is considered successfully delivered and effective in achieving its intended learning outcomes.

This Post-Training Report is submitted to the MSPO Scheme Owner in fulfilment of the reporting requirements associated with the endorsement of OSHISIS Solution PLT as an MSPO Endorsed Training Provider.
