Activity: Group Discussion and Report Presentation
Procedure:
- Group Formation: Divide participants into four teams of equal size.
- Topic Assignment: Assign each team one of the following topics:
- Team 1: Policy and System for Ethical Conduct and Anti-Bribery
- Team 2: Monitoring Approach and Target Setting for Ethical Conduct and Anti-Bribery
- Team 3: Fire Response and Mitigation Plan for Peatland
- Team 4: Fire Response and Mitigation Plan for Non-Peatland
- Group Discussion: Each team will discuss their assigned topic, drawing on their experiences in oil palm plantations. They should consider the following:
- MSPO 2.0 Requirements: Review the relevant MSPO 2.0 principles and standards. (Refer to standard link – Part 3-1, Part 3-2)
- Team 1 and 2 – refer to clause 4.2.4 for guidance
- Team 3 and 4 – Refer to clause 4.5.7 for guidance
- Best Practices: Identify effective practices in the industry.
- Challenges and Opportunities: Discuss potential challenges and opportunities in implementing the proposed solutions.
- MSPO 2.0 Requirements: Review the relevant MSPO 2.0 principles and standards. (Refer to standard link – Part 3-1, Part 3-2)
- Drafting the Report: Each team will concisely outline their proposed approach.
- Presentation: Each team will present their findings to the entire group. The presentation should be clear, concise, and engaging.
