Training program overview

A 5-day OSH Management System Lead Auditor training course was thoughtfully developed to fulfill the industry’s demand for competent auditors who could enhance their auditing abilities by gaining a wide range of OSH-related knowledge. Essential subjects covered in the training include the organization’s context, risk management, compliance with laws and regulations, OSH performance evaluation, incident management, preparedness for emergencies and response, and OSH improvement. Through this program, participants will be able to conduct efficient audits and make a substantial contribution to the ongoing enhancement of occupational safety and health standards in their respective enterprises.

Course Objectives

The OSH MS (Occupational Safety and Health Management System) Lead Auditor Course is designed to train professionals to become competent lead auditors for occupational safety and health management systems. The course aims to achieve the following objectives:

  1. Understanding OSH Management Systems: Participants will gain a comprehensive understanding of various occupational safety and health management systems, such as ISO 45001, or other relevant national and international standards. They will learn about the key elements, principles, and requirements of these systems, enabling them to conduct effective audits.
  2. Developing Audit Skills: The course aims to develop the essential skills required to plan, conduct, and report on OSH management system audits. Participants will learn how to gather evidence, analyze findings, and evaluate compliance with OSH policies, procedures, and legal requirements
  3. Learning Audit Techniques: Participants will be exposed to various audit techniques and methodologies, including interview techniques, document review, observation, and data analysis. These skills will help them conduct thorough and systematic audits to identify strengths, weaknesses, and areas for improvement in OSH management systems.
  4. Enhancing Auditor Competence: The course seeks to enhance participants’ competence as lead auditors by providing insights into the auditing process, ethical considerations, and best practices for effective auditing. Participants will also learn about the importance of communication and interpersonal skills necessary for successful interaction with auditees and stakeholders during the auditing process
